Life outside the provided boxes

Thanks for an awesome time last night! It never ceases to amaze me what happens when genuine (Hebrews 10:24-25) fellowship takes place. People actually open up and they go from just passers by to people we genuinely care about and love. It means so much to Beth and I to have people we are getting to really know in a place so far from home.

Each of us were called to respond on Sunday to a message about Decisions for Christ. Some of our responses fit neatly in a provided box. But for others, maybe what was brought to the surface was more complicated or there just wasn't a box to shade in or check that matches what God was leading you towards. I just want to encourage you to remain moldable in the area that God was dealing with you in. Maybe it is an area you need to surrender, a sin you need to repent of, or maybe a call you need to follow. Our prayer is that we don't just walk away from Sunday with a box checked and no life change, no demonstrative steps in the actuation of your belief. The message was given in the illustration of a baseball diamond. The focus of the diamond is always the bases, but keep in mind the majority of the diamond is made up of the space between. Maybe you touched a base you hadn't before, but remember today you are to move into the space between, beyond the base, beyond belief!
